What is Samhain all About?<\/u><\/p>\n

Samhain is the most important Wiccan Sabbat. It is celebration the dead and those who have passed on, but it is also about remembering and honoring our ancestors. Also, Samhain is a really good night for forming a coven.

\nFlowers: Pumpkin, Hazel, Thistle
\nCandles: Black and Orange<\/p>\n

Chants <\/u>
\nHere are some chants for both solitary witches and Covens to practise.<\/p>\n

Fire Red <\/u><\/p>\n

Fire red, summer’s dead
\nYet it shall return.
\nClear and bright, in the night,
\nBurn, fire, burn!<\/font><\/em><\/p>\n

Fire glow, vision show
\nOf the heart’s desire,
\nWhen the spell’s chanted well
\nOf the witching fire.<\/font><\/em><\/p>\n

Fire spark, when nights are dark
\nMakes our winter’s mirth.
\nRed leaves fall, earth takes all,
\nBrings them to rebirth.<\/font><\/em><\/p>\n

Fire fair, earth and air,
\nAnd the heaven’s rain,
\nAll blessed be, and so may we,
\nat Hallows-tide again.<\/font><\/em><\/p>\n

Samhain Night

\nOn this night of Samhain, I must bid goodbye,
\nTo the God and Lord, of the daylight sky,
\nI honour too, those who have gone before,
\nResting until we meet once more,
\nEternal Lady, Goddess of the night,
